Meet Dr. Abad

In 1994, Dr. Abad graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University of Dominican Republic. He completed his medical residency in family medicine before finishing an internship at the Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago.

Dr. Abad is board certified with the American Board of Family Medicine and affiliated with a number of Florida hospitals, including the Mercy Hospital, the University of Miami Hospital, and the Sister Emmanuel Hospital in Miami, as well as Coral Gables Hospital and Plantation General Hospital.

Dr. Abad is fluent in Spanish and English, allowing him to better communicate with a more diverse group of patients. He spends ample time devising personalized treatment plans and utilizes the best possible diagnostic testing and treatment methods. He always works hard to improve the quality of life and general health and wellness of each patient.

Dr. Abad offers a plethora of valuable services and treatments, such as immunizations, family planning, weight management, contraception, checkups, cardiac stress tests, echocardiograms, and preventive care. He provides cardiologic, pulmonary, and dermatologic care, such as the treatment of asthma, acne, eczema, skin rashes, COPD, bronchitis, angina, heart disease, and other cardiac issues.
